How to make your laptop's battery last longer?

There are several methods you can use to help your laptop battery last longer. You can begin by lowering the screen brightness to a level where you find it comfortable as the screen uses a lot of power. If the keyboard backlight is not required, it is better to turn it off. As an additional point, it should be noted that the screen and keyboard are the most energy-consuming components in a laptop. If the brightness is set in the mid-range, the laptop will save about 30% of its power. BT and Wi-Fi should be shut down when you are not using them, and the task manager will help you to close the apps or background processes that are not necessary for you. The battery saver mode, which is present in most operating systems, will be another great option, as it can control the activity and effects visible in the background. It is often forgotten, although it is still one of the most important things to note: the unplugging of peripherals. For a modern laptop, the most energy consumption will be from external hardware such as external drives or USB devices. Furthermore, the Here, you can try opening only a single tab or using the minimum number of applications on your computer. By doing this, you can save more power because fewer programs are running. The system on which your laptop is based also needs to be kept up to date regularly and its drivers as well as it is necessary for the battery to operate in low and high temperatures too. Using a battery at extreme temperatures, whether hot or cold, cannot only affect its lifespan, but energy will be also wasted. If you are planning to store your laptop for a long time, it is better to keep the battery at around 50% charged rather than to have it fully charged or discharged. Another method to mitigate the power of the fan, is to spread the heat by placing the laptop on a flat surface. Moving forward an additional suggestion is to convert to lightweight versions of the apps you commonly use for browsing, note-taking or media playback, which don't put a heavy load on the processor and do not consume the battery as fast as heavy apps do. By following these principles, you can prolong your laptop's battery life significantly and in the long run.

I've come to the conclusion that smart habits, rather than expensive technology, are the key to prolonging the battery life of my laptop. Significant power savings can be achieved by turning off the keyboard backlight and lowering the screen's brightness when not in use. Nowadays, it seems obvious to turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth when not in use. I also use Task Manager to monitor background apps; it's very helpful to close any that aren't needed. Unplugging peripherals is a brilliant idea that I had never considered. I also make sure to stay away from extremely hot or cold temperatures and to keep my system updated. My laptop now lasts much longer between charges thanks to these easy steps.
