⍰ ASK What technological advancements played a role in the evolution of ATMs in the USA?

Over the years, technology made ATMs in the USA better because in the 1970s, they added magnetic stripe tech to cards, making them more security. In the 1980s, ATMs were connectedq to networks, letting you use your card at different banks' ATMs.

Graphics and touchscreens came in, making ATMs easier to use, and also in 1900s, encryption and chip cards boosted security, lowering fraud risks. Not long ago, they added biometrics, and mobile features, making ATMs even handier. These tech improvements made ATMs more secure, easier for users, and adaptable to what people need in the USA.
