I think that the best way to monetize your blog is by bringing a consistent and steady number of visitors to it. The problem @john is not monetization itself, people look for fast results so may be being a publisher at Publish0x or post videos at Waveful has already established monetization process like super likes or similar tricks, unlike you need to have popular blog, also force people to disable brave browser blocking ads as majority of people use brave browser for navigation and sync between pc and mobile, also ads doesn't pay a lot of users if your blog is native language.

@lioralace it doesn't simply work because there is no high CPM on your articles, getting visitors from PTC compaigns is not the ideal or perfect solution at all, may be banner ads is little better because person is really interested on what you are posting exactly. Alternativelly, do microjobs to get comments could not be good because there will be a lot of generic comment to complete job and get reward, not everyone complete its job perfectly, between this and that CPL or pay per lead is best compaigns to monetize blog.

As per my experience, monetizing is good only when you see that there are people who are actually seeing your blog.

Wait for the stats to show that there are at least a few hundred people, who are visiting your blog and see the demographics and other things too. Analyze deep and then only monetize it.

What was your reason for creating the blog on the first place ? If it was just for fun and now you realized its potential and want to profit from it then go ahead.

What ever be the case as soon as you start your blog start monetizing it so as not to miss any penny as they add up.

Its always good to start at the beginning since you still have a lot of energy and ideas for advertising your blog. Just go ahead and start not only thinking of how to monetize it but doing it as well .
 
@Oluti most of people start for fun purposes but when you realize number of visitors is increasing surely you go to the monetization process for example if you realize that you for example you spend money and you need to monetize your effort for creating useful content so what you are saying is true indeed for any webmaster either blog owner or not. Add to that you need to maintain the same quality of posts like in the first day because decrease in quality means the visitors are no longer visiting your platform.

@Professional Writer did you mean by engagment that means people are interested on what you post and useful comments or you mean also that there is no spam comment just for advertise something or these nice good word that doesn't add any value to the thread or you mean simply people how browse website without even making single comment? Please clarify this point. Additionnaly, a blog with a lot of affiliate link seems discouraging to continue browsing such blog because it doesn't seems providing a service rather than advertise something.
