⍰ ASK Can I exchange foreign currency at USA banks without an account?

Lots of US banks let you switch foreign money, even if you're not their customer. Just pop into a local branch, ask about the currencies and rates. Heads up, they might charge fees or not give as good rates if you don't have an account with them.

Some banks could have special rules for non-customers doing currency exchange. Best to check with the bank beforehand to know their deal. Having an account might have perks, but generally, you can still swap foreign cash at US banks without one.
