Hello everyone, I encountered a living nightmare this morning. I always kept all my currency in this wallet on my computer, the seed phrase is there, of course. Today I discovered that the wallet now shows network erorr. I thought it was no big deal, but when I try to restore the wallet on electrum or the mobile version of bitcoin wallet, I get an empty wallet with a completely different extended key! I have already tried different VPNs, still a network error, despite the fact that BCH wallets work fine in both places. Are there any solutions? Has anyone encountered this? Technical support also does not understand how this is possible, I am waiting for an answer from the developers. But in our time, this is all very nerve-wracking, so I am writing here.

Man, that sounds incredibly stressful, sorry you’re going through this. It’s wild that restoring the wallet gives a completely different extended key.

Makes you wonder if something’s gone wrong with the derivation path or the way the seed is being interpreted.

Really hope support comes through for you soon. Please keep us posted if you figure it out, could help others avoid the same nightmare.
