Bitcoin11 is a scam crypto investing platform that is being used to steal funds from investors after they’ve been contacted by random strangers.
The platform itself is incredibly basic and poorly designed and offers none of the functionality a legitimate crypto platform should offer.
The person that contacted The Crypto Investor about Bitcoint11 explained that they’d received an unsolicited message over WhatsApp from someone who then proceeded to form a relationship with them.
A few weeks went by before the person turned the conversation to cryptocurrency investing and mentioned he Bitcoint11 site to the victim.
They also showed them a WhatsApp group supposedly populated by dozens of people who were successfully investing in the platform.
However, this was fake and the group members were either scammers or bots used to convince genuine investors that all was above board.
Bitcoint11 warning signs
We’ve taken a closer look at the platform and found many things wrong with it that indicate it’s a scam.
For example, the domain name is very new, the platform appears to run using automated number generating scripts rather than a genuine exchange and the ‘guaranteed’ profits that claim to be offered are completely unrealistic.
This platform is almost certainly a scam site to avoid investing any funds here.
What can I do if I’ve already been scammed?
As always we advise people to note down as much information as they can about what’s happened and the transactions they’ve made before passing this on to the authorities.
There are private companies that might be able to help which I’ve written about here.
