CR Digital Defences is a scam crypto recovery company which claims to be able to recover stolen cryptocurrency.
However, despite claims of a ‘no money up front’ service, this is not the case and the enterprise has been set up to scam people out of their cash.
Several people have contacted PawProfitForum Team about this ‘service’ after being approached by so-called representatives after previous crypto scam involvement.
The representatives seem professional at first but as the ‘case’ progresses they start to make demands for unsuspected fees.
Examples of the fees are ‘Super node maintenance’ and ‘blockchain security enhancement’. Both of these charges are clearly preposterous.
The scammers are relying on people’s lack of knowledge about crypto to bamboozle them into thinking that these are necessary charges, with some victims parting with thousands of pounds or dollars over the course of the scam.
However, at no point to they ever get any of their crypto or cash returned.
The CR Digital Defences website looks legitimate at first glance, but if you delve a little deeper there are many things that reveal it to be a scam.
They include:
- A new domain.
- Grammatical errors in the text content.
- Fake addresses in the UK and South Africa.
- No information about how they actually go about the recovery process.
- Several mentions on review websites that this platform is a scam.
- A list of so-called partners which include several random law enforcement agencies in the US which clearly have no connection the ‘company’.
- A very low Domain Authority score which indicates that the platform is not well used.
