When a site gets a lot of attention on ScamAdviser, we are compelled to take a look to find out whether it is trustworthy. In recent weeks, there have been a lot of inquiries about Flasherex.com which prompted me to go on a fact-finding mission to determine if the site is legit or a scam.

Flasherex.com is an online platform that supposedly helps users in cryptocurrency trading. With an increase in , it can be tricky to know which are legit crypto trading platforms. Join us as we uncover everything to do with Flasherex.com and help you make an informed decision.

When was Flasherex.com started?

According to the information I found in the “About us” section, Flasherex.com was started in 2018 and has grown “leaps and bounds” since.

However, according to Whois and , the domain was registered in Jan 2023. This begs the question of why would they lie. Scammers usually exaggerate the age of their websites as older websites are more credible in the eyes of users.

We also noticed a roadmap that they claim to have followed from June 2018 to Aug 2022. What caught my eye were some claims that are hard to substantiate. For instance, they claim that in August 2022, they “Became the Principal Team Partner of Oracle Red Bull Racing” but I could not find anything to back this claim.

Again, this is common with dubious websites that misuse the names of big brands to further their false claims. They know most people will simply take their word for it and not do any further research.

Flasherex.com Customer Reviews

When I checked for customer reviews, I noticed a sort of mixed bag with some positive and negative reviews. On ScamAdviser, one customer claims the site is “Vey good” but does not go ahead to explain why. However, the majority of the users are critical of the site with one even claiming there is no way of withdrawing the funds.

On Trustpilot, Flasherex.com has an overall rating of 2.9 stars with mostly negative reviews. One user claims to have lost €500 while another lost €700.
This does not help to build the already fragile confidence of customers. With both users coming from different countries, it shows how far the company has reached.

Where are they located?

In the “About us” section, they list Australia Square 264 George St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia as their location.

But when I took a deeper look, there was no business with that name listed anywhere on that building. In fact, I found that the office space is listed for lease.

Therefore, it looks like a desperate attempt to appeal to Aussies by claiming they are based in their country even though nothing suggests that this is true. It's a common trick used by scammers who want to appear to be in a certain country to hide their true identities.

Conclusion

Overall, Flasherex.com seems highly likely to be a scam. There are a lot of characteristics that overlap with crypto scams. The site is very young but claims to have been started several years ago. They also claim to be associated with big brands which we could not verify and is likely to be false. Their listed location is an open office space up for rent/lease in Australia. The reviews are mostly negative with some users claiming to have lost money.

Customers should be cautious while interacting with Flasherex.com. There are more out there.
