⍰ ASK What impact can global economic factors have on the offshore real estate market?

When the economy is not doing wellpeople may feel unsure about investing in offshore properties.

It gets harder to borrow money and changes in currency values can make properties more or less affordable for international buyers.

If interest rates go up it might cost more to borrow leading to less interest in buying properties. Lower interest rates can make investing more attractive and boost the property market.

I've come to realize when the economy falters, I begin to reconsider any significant decisions, particularly those involving offshore real estate investments. Risk-taking is hampered by uncertainty, and the math is seriously disrupted when borrowing costs increase or currency values fluctuate. I've witnessed how quickly growing interest rates can sap my passion; all of a sudden, that ideal investment seems unattainable. However, it seems as though opportunity knocks louder when rates decline. I'm more inclined to act and explore. For me, my confidence in making foreign investments is greatly influenced by the state of the economy.
