Changing a Public Limited Company rules, called Articles of Association is a formal process. First the company directors suggest changes in a Board Resolution.
Then shareholders review and must mostly agree (at least 75%) during a general meeting. Once approved, the updated rules are officially submitted to regulators like Companies House for legal acknowledgment.
Internaly corporate records get updated too. This ensures everything aligns with the new rules.
