⍰ ASK What are the rules and regulations regarding the use of corporate seals in the UK?

In the UK using corporate seals has changed because of new legal and corporate rules. Before this were stamps with a company's name, mainly used to prove documents were real. But now they're not a musthave, and the law doesn't make companies use them.

The Companies Act 2006 says companies don't need a corporate seal, and their documents are usually okay without one. Instead legal papers usually just need the right signatures.

If a company still wants to use a seal, it's up to them how it looks and how it's used. Some companies might put rules about using the seal in their internal documents, like articles of association.
