⍰ ASK What happens to your crypto when you die?

@King Belieal I really appreciate your down-to-earth approach. Having someone you trust—like your partner or even a future child—know your Secret Phrase can be a real lifesaver if something unexpected happens. That said, while giving out your Secret Phrase might seem like the easiest fix, it does come with risks like misuse or unauthorized access. Have you thought about other options too? For example, using multi-signature wallets, time-locked contracts, or even adding digital asset clauses to your estate plan could provide an extra layer of security and peace of mind. What do you think?

One thing people often overlook is crypto inheritance services. Some platforms allow you to set up a dead man’s switch basically, if you don’t log in or confirm your activity after a set period, access details are sent to your chosen beneficiary. This way, your assets don’t get lost, but no one has access unless it’s truly necessary.

Another option is writing detailed but encrypted instructions on how to access your wallets and storing them with a lawyer or in a safety deposit box. That way, even if someone finds your note, they still need the missing piece.

Has anyone here considered services like Safe Haven or TrustVerse for crypto inheritance?

Would love to hear thoughts on those.

Thanks for your answer and you indeed made it very easier to comprehend.
I’ve heard of trustverse though I haven’t used it because I think the comments and reviews about them isn’t really bad and it wouldn’t be a bad idea giving it a try.

Multi signature wallets are cool but I think this wallet requires both signature to access it and what I mean is, for one person to access, the dignity of the other partner will also be needed right ?
