⍰ ASK Who is still HODLING?

I have NEVER sold or used even the tiniest amount of Bitcoin though I have accumulated more and more over the years. Almost seems like its all in a black whole somewhere! I just don't feel like selling any it because I feel like come next halving, it will be worth 2 times more! At this point, it almost seems like all of it will just go to my next generation.

Anyone else a 100% HODLER out here?

I wish I can say same for myself
I’ve always loved the idea of holding but the circumstances around me isn’t permitting and I would want to boldly advise anyone who holds to keep holding as bitcoin is here to stay and definitely making more positive impacts.

Cheers for holding Admin and I hope I be part of your generation you’re keeping them for🤦‍♂️

I like the idea of holding and always trying to buy more and add to whatever you already have, but let's not get blinded and too greedy that we won't take profit when we are supposed to. Bitcoin is not meant to be held as decoration in our wallet; we can hold for as long as we want, but if there is a need for us to sell some of our holdings, it's never a crime to do that...

I'm a hodler, but I have sold some of my holdings, bought back, sold again, and sold each bitcoin I buy. I have a target for what I want to do with it and a price target I want to get a profit out of, which I always don't miss.

You’re right—it’s not a crime to take profits when the time is right. After all, the goal is financial freedom, and holding forever without a plan might miss some opportunities. It’s smart to have targets for when to sell and reinvest. For me, though, the idea of holding for generational wealth is appealing, but maybe with a strategy that includes some profit-taking along the way. How do you decide your selling points?

Over the period I’ve been reading post about how tight people hold their coins and just like the case with @mayahn, there are people like him who regardless of the situation, aren’t interested in selling and this is because they no longer hold for themselves but for their generation and there are the other people like @Nwada001 who aren’t traders but flow with the tides and always want to seize every juicy opportunity even while holding.

How do you decide your selling points?
I would always want to know how he decides his selling points but regardless, it’s a nice idea when maybe you buy at a certain price and hold for a period of maybe 6 months to 2 years and maybe gain over 2x and suddenly it starts dipping, it wouldn’t be bad if you sell and wait after the dip to rebuy and that’s more better than letting your portfolio dip as well.

There are many long-term holders in this era, especially since we are in a bull run as of the moment, because the risk is very low compared to day trading activities which are very high risk especially if you are entering futures trading.

Though, the important thing is that you are sure about the crypto assets that you will hold long-term, because if you hold the wrong assets, the days and hours we will spend holding them will be wasted..
